How to exclude certain files from cpbackup?

Post by a24uall »

Exclude for a particular user
Login to his home folder
cd /home/USERNAME/
Open the file named "cpbackup-exclude.conf" and add the file name that you wish to exclude.
vi cpbackup-exclude.conf
cpmove-idirs.tar.gz
backup.tar.gz
If you have to exclude that server wide open
vi /etc/cpbackup-exclude.conf
Add the file name something as mentioned below :
*/.wysiwygPro_*
*/core.[0-9]
*/core.[0-9]*
*/core.[0-9][0-9]
.cpanel/caches
.sqmailattach
.wysiwygPro_*
core.[0-9]
core.[0-9][0-9]
public_ftp/.ftpquota
