ERROR: The webserver does not appear to have windows SharePo

Getting the error "The webserver does not appear to have windows SharePoint services installed" while trying to connect to use frontpage on a linux server.
Solution : Check if the .htacccess file has some misconfigured entries.
You might also want to move 500.shtml in the public_html folder to 500.shtml.backup
